It’s that time again. Pull up a comfy chair, get a cup of coffee – or a glass of wine and enjoy the show. If you can make it all the way through the video without taking a break – congratulations!

I do ceramics as well as my decorative painting and I use “pink hair tape” for taping my pattern on greenware as you can take it off easily. I now use it for taping my patterns on everything and it comes off easily and will not tear the paper when removing. I used to get it at Walgreens but they don’t seem to have it any more so I get it at Sally’s beauty supply. Just my little tip.

This was a most informative lesson. I’ve been painting for more than 10 years and just learned some valuable tips. Thank you very much.

I have a question… Why do you use sealer in the two coats of paint ? I have always used it for the first coat and then only paint without sealer for the second. I would appreciate a reply because I have always questioned prep work. It could make or break the project.

Kathleen, The Jo Sonja paint has no sealer in it so it is too porous for my style of painting – too much tooth, like painting on flat latex wall paint
