Just A Little Bit About Color Part 2

I’m racing the clock as usual, so it’s still up in the air whether I’ll have this video posted by Monday night or if it will be on the blog on Tuesday with email notes sent on Tuesday night.  Either way I’m hoping it will be on the blog on Tuesday.  It’s an extra long one so it’s taking a while to convert it to a video that can be posted on Youtube and ultimately on the blog.

I’m arriving home from California on Monday and leaving for Tennessee on Thursday, so it looks like you’ll have to wait again to see the next installment.  That will give you two weeks to paint one lemon and three leaves.  Think you can do it?

I’m really enjoying making these color theory videos.  It’s a great brush-up for me.  (Pun intended).
We use color in almost every aspect of our lives.  The clothes we wear and buy for our children, our make-up, our home decor, even the cars we drive.  So it’s helpful to have an awareness and a knowledge about how to use color.

Not to mention as artists we should know at least the basics.  Duh!

So here you go………… And I want comments!
Remember – you can ask me questions in a comment.  I’ll do my best to answer every one of them.

Just can’t tell you how wonderful your color videos are. I’ve had many, many color theory classes but never one like this. How unique to take what one learns in lesson one and see how to apply it to a pattern. Great job as always, Ronnie.

Same as above…did not see your reply to the gals who did not see video 1. Would like to view also. Thanks, this is great

Thank you so much for sharing this series on color! “Seeing” color theory is so, so much meaningful than just reading about it. I have read many articles on color, but only tiny bits made it into my long term memory. I think watching you do this and then painting along with you will give the info some staying power. Thanks for your generosity.

I’m with the other gals. I know where your videos are on your page, but am unable to find part one of the color theory.
